Are you struggling to write a young adult, middle grade, or picture book?

I can help!

Children’s books are special and writing them requires a deep understanding and knowledge of the current children’s publishing industry, reading audience, and market trends.

I have a solid foundation in writing and publishing for kids. I have been an active volunteer with the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) for over fifteen years, over ten of which have been spent in a lead role with the Arizona Regional Team.

Whether you are just starting out with the germ of an idea, have written a complete draft, or several, or have already published in the children’s market, I can help guide you in the right direction, help you focus in on your genre & target audience, and craft a book that you will be proud to submit to agents and editors.

Are you ready to develop/write/revise that special children’s book? Let’s get your story out into the world and into the hands and hearts of kids.

“Sharon was amazing. She was timely and thorough. Beyond Sharon’s timely and deliciously-detailed editing and story start-up coaching….Her weekly writing, style, and illustrative-think about “assignments” personalized to my writing project, helped me to move through the creative writing process with speed, and with greater confidence. Sharon is a stellar author, coach, and editor.”
